During my travel and (limited) spare-time I try to read as many interesting management books as possible.
Most of them are being recommended by others and I truly have learned a lot from these books. They help me, and will help you, to generate new ideas and solutions for further improving our company, our management skills and innovate our thinking how to deal with the many challenges we face day-to-day.
Getabstract is a great tool to grasp the main idea of the many interesting management books around. I use it to navigate but even more to convince other people of an interesting book that I have read, by sending them an abstract.

One of the best books I have read is the book of David Marquet called “Turn the Ship Around!” A True Story of Turning Followers Into Leaders, it is an excellent story how to lead an organization where execution happens without permissions and results are part of the day to day.
Throughout my career, first in consulting at PwC and later with Wavin I have experimented and learned the power of the “leader-leader” model that David describes so well in his book. I am convinced this is the way to achieve great results in a motivating and exciting way. It requires you to trust your people by creating a secure base and giving them the room to find their own way in achieving the agreed goal.
No matter your business or position, you can apply Marquet’s radical guidelines to turn your own ship around. The payoff: a workplace where everyone around you is taking responsibility for their actions, where people are healthier and happier, where everyone is a leader.
Enjoy the reading and apply it!
